Last week, I purchase a KINETIC ZING (Rs. 24250/- showroom price at Patiala) for my wife who is a teacher. After thorough study of similar scooterette available in the market like TVS Scooty and Bajaj Spirit, I preferred to buy Kinetic Zing. Firstly Kinetic is the first company in India who brought this technology of Auto gear and Self start, secondly zing’s engine is 65 cc as compared to TVS scooty of 60 cc and thirdly, price wise it is somewhat cheaper that TVS scooty.
Though I have yet to test it on road, but its style is good. Its pickup is excellent and load-bearing capacity is also good. I along with my wife and my son travelled a few kilometers on it to test its pickup. One thing, which is troubling me and which I will get clarified from my dealer is that whenever I start it and tries to move, it stops one-two times and than by pressing choke, I moves on it few yards, than it works okay and doesn’t stop. I don’t know why it is so happening. Another thing which I noticed is that the sound played at the time of switching indicators on is not very loud.
On the whole, the bike is good looking, probably fuel efficient also ( as the company is claiming) and it gives liberty to my wife to go to her school independently.
