The movie starts of with people going out to seek the skull island with Naomi Watts for shooting a movie. And find an island in fog. The island is surrounded with a huge wall. They get stuck on the island. And are attacked by the natives from there.
Namoi watts is captured by the natives and given as sacrifice to ’’king kong’’. This is where the actual adventure takes off. Where people go in search of her beyond the wall. Into the awesome woods. The graphics are too good. You get to see great dianosours, huge bats, huge crawling creatures, huge spiders and ants in addition to the huge ape. You are at the end of your seat waiting eagerly for the movie to move on to the next scene, frightened and wanting more.
The scene where king kong is captured is very touching. I would have liked to see how they managed to move him to their ship and sail back. Because it is quite unbelieveable that they managed to move the huge ape to New York.
The scene where you see the ape in chains is very sad. King kong’s expressions have been very nicely shown. It touches your soul. In fact I had people crying at the end of the movie when the king kong falls off the building and dies.
I would have liked if at the end ’’King kong’’ would have been moved back to the place he came from. Why not have an unbelieveable ending to a unbelieveable creature’s love story.
The worst part about the movie is that the bad guys get away very easily. That part should have been handled somehow...
