I am suppose to go to Mumbai. Not getting seat on my preferred airline.Travel desk books me on kingfisher.I am not unhappy but curious about it.
I am told you will either love it or hate it nothing in between. I will say either love it or hate it you cannot ignore it. My kingfisher experiance started as soon as you reach airport.
A smartly dressed porter approached me and took my luggage from cab and guided me to the check in counter. After a smooth check in I was guided for security check.There the porter took a leave and I was on my own. Beleive me they dont expect and accept tips, I tried but he refused with a thank you. Boarding on the bus was well organised and I was surprised to enter the aircraft. It was a fresh looking baby with interiors looking fresh in bright red and white.
Every seat had a personal TV with decent choice of programmes. As soon as we settled down welcome kit was given by smartly dressed in flight staff. It is a good looking red and transparent pouch containing menu card, fresh tissue, candies king fisher pen and headphones. After normal security display and welcome speech by Mr Mallaya which was bit long and irritating I was able to fiddle with in flight entertainment system, which was good time pass for one and half hour flight. Food was ok but dessert took all the marks.
Reached Mumbai on time, again was greeted by a well dressed porter in baggage reclaim area who escorted me to my cab. Over all a nice experiance for a change but will stick to Jet for I find it more professional and let me a passanger on a airplane rather than a ’guest’. May be matter of personal choice.
