My husband and me fly very frequently. Our first experience with kingfisher was jus too great. But later... came the most irritating journey from chennai to bangalore. This happened quite a few months back. If you all know its a 45 minutes journey.
Every airline takes your contact number to call you in advance and inform if there is a flight delay... but here you need to call them and find out.
We came to know that the flight is delayed by 1.30 hrs. Later after going to the airport... there was further delay in the flight... now I dont remeber the exact timings.. but roughly the correct time for the flight was around 7.30 pm... and it was 9.30 pm and no sign of any borading. Later there was an announcement that they are dinner. And the flight is delayed by further 1 hour or so. when it was around 10.30pm... they informed again that there is a further delay. Now it was time to act.. and hence we went to ask what was the real problem. The manager incharge in chennai airport said that the flight from hyderabad has jus now started... and it will be here in 45 minutes or so.. and apologised. Ok... we understand...
Now its 11.30 pm.... and still no sign...? Basically the manager was bullshitting that the flight had already taken off from hyderabad.
Once when sahara was delayed... they arranged for taxi for us in bangalore... the manager had mentioned at the back of our boarding pass... and once we landed... we were arranged with a taxi by the incharge person in bangalore.
So we wanted samething from these guys also because we will arrive late night in Bangalore. Now the chennai kingifsher manager came up with a story that Banglore airport is filled with passengers - around 250 ppl are stranded as there is shortage of taxi, by no means he can request his co-worker at banaglore to arrange for a taxi, and advised to take a morning flight. All this was happeneing at 12.00 AM.... We had to go that night and hence... we badly wanted to take the night flight (rather midnight ). We argued with the manager... and on the other hand he became irate.... (Damn.... do these guys know what is service industry all about?)
Now it was time that all the passenger got furious and started to argue.... and finally at 12.45 AM... the flight ( as said by the manager... took off at 10.30 pm from hyderabad) landed.... and We reached bangalore at 1.45 - 2.00 AM.
Now out of curiosity... I asked the airport officials if there was any situation of passengers getting stuck at the airport due to lack of taxis.... the officer said.... They never had any rush at any point of time. I booked a taxi... without standing in any queue.... and went peacefully!!!
MANAGERS BULLSHITTING - I HAVE SEEN THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME. IF YOU DONT WANT TO RENDER A SERVICE.... DONT BULLSHIT... BE HONEST!!!
I WILL NEVER EVER FLY KINGFISHER IN MY LIFE AGAIN - THANKS FOR MAKING US A FOOL THAT DAY.
