Kingfisher is the best example of cheap Indian customer service airlines. Ive had the worst experience of my life time with them. I was given a transit flight to Eva from KingFisher at Bangkok. I was not told until I was about to board my flight at Hyderabd that they would not check-in my luggage with Eva in bangkok and that Ive to do it myself. This was not told to me at all when my travel agent was booking my flight. They are supposed to chek-in my luggage in an international flight if I have a transit. They were expecting me to get down at Bangkok, get a Visa, go through the immigration, collect my luggage and chek-in with Eva all with in one hour. The idiot at the chek-in counter with Kingfisher even gave me a false promise that I would have enough time to do all this. On top of it, the flight arrived 15 mins late in Bangkok.
Obviously, I missed my flight and had to stay back in Bangkok for a day with my own expenses. When I had my friend in US contact KingFisher to help me out, they charged me $250 as a No Show fee which actually is a result of their horrible service to get me another ticket. Eva did not charge me a penny though I missed their flight and took another one next day. Some one at the Eva counter was telling me next day "They are very cheap airlines. So they cannot check-in with international airlines like us"
