I had a very high regard for kingfisher airlines but the latest experience has shattered everything.
I had booked a to & fro flight ticket for del - kol sector. I had booked the ticket on-line on kingfisher website (mistake no.1). Due to some reason, i had to pre-pone my onward journey and i booked in spicejet. While cancelling the ticket, i was told that i will be eligible for refund once i complete my return journey . With good faith and after coming back to Delhi, i called up the customer care for cancellation. I was told that the money will be refunded in 5 working days. After 5 days, when i called up, i was told that the money has already been refunded, please check with the bank. After 3 days again i called and i was given my cancellation number and was told by one of the boys that by mistake my money has been referred to their revenue department and i should get the money in 2~3 days. After that my mental torture started. First of all getting their toll free number is one big hurdle and after that waiting in q, whenever i was lucky enough to speak to any person, i used to get a standard reply ( after putting me on hold for more than 10 minutes) - your case is on top priority and within 2~3 days.
Now the 2~3 days have trickled to weeks and now months, hope it does not go to years, centuries etc.
I even wrote a couple of mails to guestcare@flykingfisher.com and the last mail i copied to chairman@flykingfisher.com but have received the same reply. I really do not know where should i go from here. If anyone of you, have got some solution, please respond. I even tried for their superiors mail id or telephone nos., but they were too professional to share the same.
Now mistake no. 1 - dont book your ticket directly on their website. If you book through makemytrip.com or yatra.com, you can get the refund much faster (although they will charge their fees, rs250/- for makemytrip.)
I know kingfisher airlines customer care do not read this kind of comments on the net, hence i do not foresee any response from them.
