I have travelled by almost all the domestic airlines and I would go by what most of the other members have to say about Kingfisher airlines..
Rather than repeating what most others have written I would like to highlight few areas of improvements:
- In flight entertainment: Yes, this was one of the USP of kingfisher airlines, and will be great experience for a first timer. However, That’s not the target audience kingfisher is looking for! Kinghfisher is targetting regular business travellers and for a regular traveller the programs and music get irritatively repetitive. Yes, they have the programs good enough for one hour duration. If your flight is any longer, you will notice that the content is no more than a recorded repeat.
I have heard, they are introducing live DTH signal in phases.. tht will definitely address the above issue. But it will take some time, till then one will either bear with the repeat content or resolve to traditional entertainment like reading, carry your own music etc.
- Menu: Again for a first timer or infrequent flier the menu will be amazing, but what I said earlier is that kingfisher is targetting frequent travellers. And for people who travel and come back within a week, what they were served while going, they get the same while coming back also...
I know kingfisher is no doubt the best domestic airline and should continue to be one.. but still there is always a room for improvement!!!
