Hi Folks,
KF might have been the best sometime back, but I assume its following suit just like the other carriers who enter the market with a bang and go DUD.
I flew it twice before I decided to fly it again on a trip from hyderabad to vizag and thats when my nightmare started.To start of with their valet service, they are pretty very very selective( too much use of "very" should explain my point).The staff at the counter outside the airport.god knows what they think abt their GUESTS
I checked in at the airport bang on time and found that the flight was delayed.( the same happened to all the other flights scheduled to depart to vizag that day).the ground staff promptly informed that theres been a delay and they were expecting to fly in an hour or so.At this point I couldnt blame them. the weather at vizag was the culprit.
However in the course of time all the other airlines( deccan, Indian, Sahara) announce that their flights are cancelled and blah blah blah .
KF on the other side still maintains that their flight is just delayed and would fly for sure.!
again.a very plastic sounding apology and no provision for refreshments.may be this is their interpretation of GOOD TIMES.
Thats when the drama unfolds.KF announces that their flight would depart to vizag( 2.5 hours late) and they start issuing boarding passes.everyones goes through the circus of security check( which was by the way two fold as it was the nations republic day) and wait to get into the bus when from nowhere KF announces that the flight has been cancelled due to bad weather at the vizag airport( the other airlines had the brains to infom the same 1.5 hour in advance).dint they realise this before they started issuing boarding passes, god knows.
Such a disaster.leaving us nowhere.topping all this, there was an autorickshaw strike in hyderabad.forcing us to pay a hefty 250 bucks to go to the bus station and book tickets.
Where else would you find such gud times.only on KF.they might be the best during gud times but fall flat on their face when theres a situation.just like any other carrier
The only saving grace was we had a complete refund and they also booked another ticket to bangalore at no extra charge.this was totally appreciated
But still, waiting for 3.5 hours at the airport and a further 8 hours to get into a bus dint leave me with gud taste.
