Kingfisher Airlines.
I like Kingfisher Airlines for a bunch of reasons. Not always the most obvious. And like every other human I dont like it for a few reasons. Let me give them both to you.
Reasons to Like Kingfisher.
From the moment you reach the entrance to the airport you can feel the difference in the way Kingfisher operates. There is always someone in a Kingfisher uniform waiting to assist you with your bag, esccort you to the check-in counter. And they always do it with a smile. And as a frequent flyer, I can tell you that this is not an one off thing. The beauty of this is not so much that they help carry our bag(We can do it ourselves!), but the fact they actually care enough to do it.
The check-in is the smoothest among all the domestic airlines. I have never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time at the counter.
The seats are not the most comfortable though. I think I prefer the seats on Jet airways.
Inflight experience is pretty good in Kingfisher airlines. But again, I prefer the inflight system on Jet(on the sectors that this is available on). The programs on Kingfisher can repetitive and boring.
The food on Kingfisher is worth appreciating. I think the food on Paramount is the only one comparable to Kingfisher.
The staff on Kingfisher are polite as ever and pretty. But again, I think Paramount is better than Kingfiher in this regard.
Baggage services is on par with the other airlines. I also believe that the Airport has as much to do as the airline when it comes to baggage services.
The overall flight experience is Very good on Kingfisher. And keeping in mind what they charge us for a ticket, I think they manage to deliver decent value.
