Since my childhood (& that’s a long time ago!!) I’ve just loved drinking this frothy brew!
Kingfisher & Kalyani Black Label have been my staple for quite some time! However of late the quality of these two beers - Kingfisher in particular has declined substantially.
In the North they have this pseudo-macho penchant for what are euphemistically termed ’’strong beer’’ which I personally think is just an acronym for Horse Piss (pardon my french!) & it was really great having a trusted Lite beer like Kingfisher to quaff each time the mercury soared.
But of late, whether it has to do with coping for the huge demand or just poor quality control the beer sucks! With all the Aussie, German & US brands coming in courtesy WTO Ol man Mallya better pull up his socks or tighten his Brewmasters thong or whatever & get his act together or else it will just signal the demise of a fine Indian BRAND!
