As Kingfisher was offering the least fare to Andaman, we five friends decided to book tickets through it. We booked the tickets through https://flykingfisher.com, a big blunder it was.
We selected a round trip to Port Blair(Andaman) from Chennai with the following dates;
Chennai to Port Blair -> 22nd Aug 09
Port Blair to Chennai -> 29 Aug 09(Return ticket date)
And proceeded with the booking - there was a provision to enter two different email ids primary and secondary - I specified two different email ids here(This is what has to save me - read through further) and made the payment through credit card.
Now, here is the blunder, I received the itenary details to the primary email id with the following details;
Chennai to Port Blair -> 22nd Aug 09
Port Blair to Chennai -> 22 Aug 09(Return ticket date) instead of 29th Aug 09.
I received a SMS alert from fly kingfisher which states the below;
"Your booking is confirmed on Kingfisher Airlines flight IT3631/22AUG MAA-IXZ @0455 hrs, IT3632/29AUG IXZ-MAA @0725 hrs."
And as well received an email to the secondary email id(specified while booking) from fly kingfisher with the below details;
"Dear Guest,
Thank you for choosing Kingfisher Airlines.
Your booking is confirmed on Kingfisher Airlines flight IT3631/22AUG MAA-IXZ @0455 hrs, IT3632/29AUG IXZ-MAA @0725 hrs.
Your PNR is AAAAGY.
Guests who are booking using credit cards are requested to carry their credit card / Copy of the credit card for verification at the airport.

Now, when we contacted the KF customer care team on the same, their answer to this -Sir, you have selected the wrong date, you had never selected 29th Aug.
When we mentioned to them about the message/email I had received with the correct dates and told them they had a faulty application, they reply - There is no problem with their application, it is perfect. The email was not sent by them, inturn they said - we must have manipulated the mail to reflect the correct dates. They did not have an answer to the SMS on my mobile.
Fly Kingfisher is asking us to pay a rescheduling fee to get the return journey date changed.
When contacted the guestcare@flykingfisher.com, they as well had the same answer.
We friends are still trying to get this resolved.
Please be careful while you are booking tickets through Kingfisher.
