I first tried out this bigger bro of the familiar Kingfisher Lager quite out of necessity: all the other beers in my local haunt were warm! I must confess I have never been a fan of Kingfisher, and thus approached the ’Strong’ brand with some prejudice.
To my surprise it was a cool crispy beer, with just a hint of sweetness: just the way I like my beer. Nomally a Haywards 2000 fan, I must confess the Kingfisher Strong made me sit down and think.
Yet the Haywards won, for the Kingfisher just can’t make it through a Boyz Night Binge... a couple of bottles leave u bloated.
Still... a treat perfect with a pair of tandoori chickens.
