We went ahead with our booking with Kings Range in spite of reading the negative comments from this site. The owner of the resort gave us assurance that everything has been sorted out and guaranteed an excellent weekend getaway with family and friends.
The below are some of the things that pissed me off:
1) There was no electricity during our entire stay, We reached in the evening, they said, there is a power failure in the whole area and assured that it would be resumed in couple of hours.
They don’t have power backup, there is no one even to provide candles or other lighting options. It was a nightmare experience for the whole night to stay with out light, just manage with our torch lights.
2) You will not get any help during the night, the manager switches off the phone and there is absolutely no help for any emergency.
3) The worst thing is, Dogs roam freely in the campus, when they serve buffet dinner, there is no place to wash hands and keep the used plates, we found dogs eating from the same plate, (not just one dog), they start licking the plate and have a feast on the left over on the same plate you eat.
The next day, you will end up eating in the same plate. I at-least believe, they washed the plates properly on that day.
Just to make myself comfortable.Imagine our plight with two senior citizens and 3 kids.Just stay away, unless you don’t have any other option except this place.
