Another neat and clean movie from the Aziz Mirza camp. This man, ever since his "Nukkad" days, has given us quality stuffs with good social message. His movies were always family entertainers, and with a message that will definitely touch your heart somewhere. And the way he sketches his characters, is amazing - each one of us can identify with the characters of his movies - they are so real. Nothing extravagant, nothing extra ordinary- his story lines are simple, yet touching, his characters are genuine, yet real, his morals are uplifting, yet simple.
This movie is no exception. It talks about a brilliant all rounder of his University, who was always expected to reach great heights by teachers student alike. But once out of the University, this young boy had great problem sustaining himself amidst all odds that he faces in life. Out of sheer frustation and helplessness, he lands up to a fortune teller who tells him that there would be someone/something which will bring good luck to him. And then he meets this girl, who, whenever they meet, brings him good luck in someway or the other...
Now a journey begins, a journey of human values, relationships, trust, betrayal, love, and all sorts of possible twists and turns which ultimately leads to the victory - victory of the good over the evil.
Some outstanding performance by Om Puri, Himani Shivpuri and Boman Irani... saw some old, familiar faces of the "Nukkad" camp... Juhi was a delight to watch (may be I am biased, but I just love her).
Shahid acts and dances well - but he always looks immatured and a kid star than a hero - grow up boy! Vidya Balan is looking fat at times, but she is a genre of her own. I like to see her on screen, but yes she should watch her weight. In totality, this movie is definitely worth a watch... check this out
