Review : My review is very different from others. Others have written reviews on the film, I?m writing this review on the director Mr SubaSh Ghai.
Today I saw the movie and loved it. It was very different from other films. I had in the past heard that Mr ghai molests his heroines. Firstly I heard that the veteran director molested Mahima Choudry during the making of Pardes(the latter’s debut film). I thought that it was a rumour.
Secondly I read in a magazine that Salman Khan saved Aishwarya Rai (from the same), during the making of Taal (Ghai’s directional debut). But after seeing Kisna, I’m damn sure that he is of that character.
Kisna was a wonderfully directed film but I have problems with some of the exposing scenes. I was not expecting such scenes so when I saw them I obviously was very disappointed.
In Kisna there was no need whatsoever for exposure. But still there were three scenes (others r pardonable) of unneccessary exposure.First was the bathing scene of Luxmi, this was was absolutely unnecessary.
Second was the scene where both Kisna and Cathrina take a dip in holy ganga river. In this scene Cathrina wore a transparent skimpy outfit (which not even Mallika sherawat would wear) , she could have worn a Sari of any other colour.
In the Third scene cathrina is shown topless(in the climax), this scene could have been presented in a different and neat way.
Barring these scenes the film was enjoyable. I also think that there were too many songs in this film and film was little bit stretched.That is it.
