Its made with 100% Real tomatoes? Thats what the labeling says - have you seen 80% real tomatoes or 50% tomatoes?
Sorry but thats a funny claim.especially when the tomatoes are just at 28% in the form of a paste . Some feel the tomatoes are fresh and cherry picked. I only believe what I see and not everything thats claimed .
Thats how labeling is done to fool you. Im still scratching my head and wondering what could this 100% real tomatoes mean? I have never seen a tomato+ cherry hybrid have you?
Next I move along the ingredients list too see where does sugar stand .its the third item on the list, yes it should be 3rd or lower wait, but hey wait wait .the first ingredient they say is water and next is 28% tomato paste Technically thats makes sugar a major component, another source of hidden sugar, there you go .
Also guys how can something with a long shelf life and class 2 preservatives be called fresh .Its a processed food with acidity regulators and stabilizers as well .
The taste is cool, its pleasing, the consistency is thick but if given an option I im going to prefer a homemade nariyal or a green chutney made with coriander . Now that feels fresh, even the imagination feels fresh .
I feel pickles, chutneys and even Lasuni Thecha are much better options especially if they are made fresh at home . I am not taking anything away from the product . It feels great with garlic and onion powder along with spices and condiments added to the tomato paste .
I am also not 100% sure its gluten free, its always a hidden source used to thicken the sauces . BUt its generally seen almost all kissan products are generally good quality wise and taste wise too .
The squeezo bottle makes it easy to squeeze and is non-breakable too thus making it convenient . The 450gm bottle costs 99/- INR .
