The Kite Runner is a novel written by Khalid Hosseni. This was his first book. In this book the story of a boy named Amir who lives in Afghanistan is depicted. It shows the events from the fall of Afghanistan’s monarchy through the Soviet Invasion and the refugees from Pakistan, also the rise in the Taliban regime. The story revolves in Kabul, Pakistan, Afghanistan. Moreover its a slow story & is preferable to those who have much patience.
