Down the memory lane to remember the ugly truths

No doubt Khaled Hosseni loves his motherland - Afghanistan very much. His compassion was clearly visible throughout the story. The Story starts in the 70’s at an Afghanistan much similar to heaven. And there were 2 innocent kids, Amir & Hassan. The story came in the voice of Amir, for whom Hassan was more than a servant’s son. But as luck didn’t favor, the friendship took a wrong turn.

Thanks to the local goons who raped Hassan in a dark alley. Amir saw, but couldn’t protest. Then came out the clash in Amir’s heart. And khaled did an awesome job to portray the ugliness of an innocence heart. One side, it’s the injustice done to Hassan, another side, it’s getting the love and care of his father, Little Amir was a true confused sole.

The second part of story starts in u.s.a. where Amir and his dad are afghan refugees, thanks to the Russian invasion. The story got more efficient as Khaled portrays the condition of afghan millionaires in the states. Amir grew up, falling for the daughter of an ex afghan general, got married, his father passed away. And in everything, there’s a shadow of Hassan. But fate is

a cycle, Amir landed in Afghanistan looking for late Hassan’s son. His redemption starts. Years back, he couldn’t save Hassan in the alley. Can he save his son? Check ii out? Kite runner is awesome & flawless. If you have seen the movie and feel that’s enough then think once again. This is a must read
