One of the best books that you will ever read. Never will have you read a book as dark and devastating as this. To think of the fact of what what does to people and kills all the loved ones is absolutely terrifying.
Had we not read The Kite Runner, we would never have had a real insight of what war really is like.
Ali and Hasan are two brothers from the same father but different mothers. And it’s not even like they are step-brothers. Yes, the plot is this twisted.
What happens to Hasan, within the first half of the book breaks your heart already and triggers you to think. But what happens in the second part of the book leaves you aghast and disgusted with a man you’ll have started respecting by then.
The book has no difficult words and is easy to understand. But very very difficult to digest.
If you haven’t already read the book, what are you doing ? Go and read it as soon as possible, and be introduced to a new World of Darkness that you never knew existed.
