Waited for this movie to release for so long!
We were surprised to see so many people line up for a movie.....that seemed to lift our spirits.Below is the review of this movie ....take it from a FAN angle.....!!
Beginning...
The movie starts with two kites flying in the sky and the zooming voice that explains in short about Kites fly together (don’t want to give up the storyline). Here I get the feeling that may be the end will be different.
next ....
The story proceeds with Hrithik entering the scene and the dance and the magic follows him. Kites is a love story with a difference. The hero falls for the wrong girl. Tries not to fall , but still gets trapped into the path which is Forbidden!
The girl....
The mexican girl has an awesome screen presence. She enters with a bang and takes our hero’s breath away.The chemistry between Hrithik and Barbara has to be watched to believe what an amazing couple they look together
The story
The storyline seems to be slow paced and repetitive.Not much dialogues are there between the girl and the boy but their eyes do all the talking. First half glues you to the screen and its characters. Barbara’s fiance played by a new character has done a good job. Second half could have been better, the car chase, the songs are all what it needs for a movie to glue the audience, but here it seemed to much.
Songs
The song by K.K-Zindagi do pal ki-is the best part of the movie as the picturization is too good. Another song by Hrithik in english, a first for him was quite appealing.
Why watch?
Watch it for Hrithik, and Hrithik only because he has done a too good job. Mention-able performances by Kabir Bedi and Kangana Ranaut are applaud-able..
