Accidentally I happened to watch this movie because my car was in garage for some unfortunate reason and then I had nothing to do for 3 more hours. So, opened news paper and saw Kites showing in Adlabs, mangalore. I remembered seeing tailors with hritik and lot of hype about it so thought it could be better.
Ok coming to the point, here is what happened:
First half : Worst, pathetic.. Its just like another hindi movie which is dubbed some Hollywood, actors trying the US accent/styles and I was irritated to the core that I decided to leave the theatre. As mangalore is pretty hot weather, I thought to cool off in air conditioned theatre (as I did not have anything else to do).. second half was slightly better (only when compared to first half). I could not really make out what kites mean ?? also wondered how hrithik could do such movie after 2+ years of break !
Overall, please avoid this movie, watch it only if you have time and nothing else to do in this world and watch a downloaded/pirated copy !!
Please don’t waste money and time. My sincere advice is to check reviews before going to hindi movie, atleast I have decided to do so.
