This flick stars the not bad looking with no hits Fardeen Khan, the debutant Amrita Arora and the very rarely seen Sonali Kulkarni.
This story is about a boy and girl who both study in the U.S.A and are making their way to India to get married to their parent’s choice of girl/boy. This boy and girl (Fardeen and Amrita) first meet in the U.S.A over a mobile phone mix (Jessssssssss! will they ever think of a new theme!) and have a ’’I Hate You’’ relationship, which soon changes over their taxi drive in India.
The story goes on of how they make their way to their home town together...where everyone thinks that they are a married couple and makes them do these religious prayers (pujas) so that they will never split up! (Seen before...I know, I know!)
But they do split as they have to go home and get married, but as they split they realise that they love each other... OH HEAVEN FORBID!
Basically Fardeen goes home and sees his future wife -Sonali Kulkarni who turns out to be Amrita’s best friend, they are so close that they both have their wedding day on the same day, in the same place!!
On the wedding day Amirta’s side of celebrations gets burnt as fire is set to the place by a stupid chef. Amrita’s to be husband cowardly leaves her to stand within the circle of fire and who comes to save....FARRRDEEEEEEEEENNNNN! hmmmmmmmm! we haven’t seen that before! Then Sonali says ’’No, Amrita can have my love’’ and so are happily ever after!
THANK GOD I FINISHED THAT! Guys this was a pathetic movie, though it did have a few catchy numbers and some comedy, but overall the story is very weak and is very typical and you can guess what will happen next. The performance is nothing super, though direction is not bad. Overall this flick is a disappointment, sorry Fardeen/ Amrita fans; this is not for you!...And certainly is not for me either!
Infact I think this must be one of my shortest reviews, as I really do not have much to say about it!
