Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin is the story of a sweet, simple and less-than-ordinary looking girl with a heart of gold and a persevering nature. Born to ordinary middle class parents, Jassi’s simplicity and clumsy ways make everyone fall in love with her. Like millions of middle class Indian girls Jassi too aspires to make a mark for herself with her never say die attitude yet gullible nature.
The show brings out the eternal conflicts between the middle class and the high society; simplicity and glamour; artificial facades and true inner beauty. ’Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin’ has all the ingredients to make it connect well with its viewers - a contemporary setting, a metrosexual male and fashionable socialites contrasting with a plain, ordinary girl aspiring to be accepted in high society and determined to make it big one day.
Jassi starts her career with a fashion house Gulmohar as a secretary of Chairmen Arman Suri. Though Jassi is appointed by Purshotam Suri ex-chairman of Gulmohar for his son Armaan Suri. Purshotam Suri has recognized Jassi?s strengths however nobody is happy with his decisions. Initially nobody likes Jassi including Armaan as she was very clumsy and ugly looking.
Whenever she does any work she makes mistakes and breaks the things in nervousness because she is not used to of this kind glamorous word. Slowly she starts picking up and starts showing her intelligence in her work. Armaan Suri gets impressed by her work and permote her as his personal assistant. Armaan?s fiancé Malika her brother Aryan and friend Pari (glam girl) did not like it and start creating problems for Jassi at every step. But Jassi proved that nobody can stop her to reaching her goals. She wooed all the office staff with her soft nature and positive attitude.
Now everyone become her well wisher in office except Malika, Aryan and Pari. In the process Jassi falls in love with Arman but she never express it. In Arman?s chairmanship Gulmohar comes under some financial losses but Arman does not want to declare the loss in board meeting because he does not want to loose his face in front of his dad and specially his enemy Aryan . He asks jassi (finance expert) to do some financial adjustment and show profits. Jassi denied it as it?s against her principles but Arman force her emotionally. She agrees and opened a new company ( Kohinoor) only on papers to fund the Gulmohar with help of her best friend Nandu and her father.
Now the second phase of story: when Jassi starts managing both the companies Gulmohar and Kohinoor successfully Armaan becomes insecure. No body knows about Kohinoor except Armaan, Jassi and Raj (Armaan?s best friend) in meanwhile some misunderstanding happens in between Jassi & Armaan.
So Jassi takes leave for few days without informing Armaan and goes to Rani Keth(forgot the exact place) for vacation with her grandmother. There she meets Rohan a small kid who has run away from home. Jassi becomes friendly to him. Rohan has got one elder brother Purab who comes here behind Rohan to take him back home. With few fights he too becomes friend of Jassi. Here he falls in love with Jassi because of her simplicity, caring nature and transparent heart. He moves to Bombay for Jassi but Jassi does not know anything. Now Jassi is back to work where Armaan plans to attract Jassi towards him with the help of ideas given by his friends Raj. But Jassi is already in love with her so follows blindly whatever he says believing that he is always right.
Now Purab comes in picture he is a big business Tyco whose work is taking over big companies. Aryan associates with Purab to take over Gulmohar. So far Purab does not know that Jassi works for same company. Armaan comes to know about take over and Jassi?s and purab?s friendship. He suspects Jassi for take over plan. Later on they come to know that Aryan is behind it. Purab also come to know that Jassi works with Gulmohar and now in problem because of him. So he dropped the idea of take over. But by now Jassi misunderstood Purab and break the friendship with him.
Purab does all the possible things to make Jassi understand him. By now Jassi is drawn by Armaan?s falls love. Armaan tries his all the possible tricks to keep Jassi attractive towards him so she will not go to Purab because Armaan has insecurity that Jassi can take over his both companies making association with Purab.
Third Phase : After some times Jassi realize that what they are doing is wrong because Armaan is engaged to Malika. And she should not come in between them because Jassi?s character is like that she can?t see anybody unhappy because of her. So she denied the Armaan?s love. Meanwhile somehow Purab manage to gain Jassi?s friendship back.
He opens a new fashion house 3T with Jassi?s two other friends Nandu and Hansmuki. Now as Armaan?s insecurity increases he makes Jassi CEO of the company for the period of six months, as per the contract that Jassi will leave Gulmohar and Koohinoor if she will not able to generate the profit of 10 crores in this six months. Jassi accepts the challenge and become the CEO of Gulmohar for six months. In meanwhile Jassi?s parents proposed Purab for marriage with Jassi. Purab?s dream comes true and he agrees as well jassi. Now Purab?s 3T and Jassi?s Gulmohar is competitors in fashion world.
They compete for one big contract (Sheetal Ambuja a big celebreity wants to design her wedding collection) which at last Jassi achieved. With this success Jassi comes in limelight of media and becomes popular. As usual this success affects her enemies and they give media some wrong information about Purab and Jassi and suddenly success becomes painful. But later one reporter from AAJ Tak News find out the fact and regains Jassi?s reputation. Now Jassi and Purab are Happy together but again Armaan?s behavior towards Jassi is making Purab begins to feel confused about Jassi. He is sure that her past still rules her mind and heart. He decides to call Jassi and disuses but before that Jassi wants to confess something. Let?s see what is that confession on Monday 8th of Nov?04.
