This serial is about a middle class girl who is very simple. Kusum(nousheen ali) is struggling to fulfill the demands of the role of a daughter, a sister, a working girl, even her parents look up to her, as much as she dotes on her younger brothers and sisters, whom she’s determined to give a good education. She helps everyone who needs her help.KKkusum is sweet, and she’s got a lot of patience, but at the same time, she isn’t going to take any injustice.She upholds her strong ethical and moral values .She has no ego and is a typical Indian woman who thinks about everyone but herself.
Then one fine day she gets a proposal from a very rich guy and she feels all her dreams will come true. Little did she know that after she marries this boy abhay(anuj) all her problems would start.
Once she marries abhay she gets to know that abhay has married her just because of the parents. Later it is revealed that abhays parents wanted kkusum as their daughter-in-law because of abhays kundli. He was prone to many accidents and only a girl with a particular kundli could save him from those accidents. Life has something completely different in store for her! She never gives up hope and she knows one day she will achieve what she wants.
Nousheen(kkusum) has seen success coming to her like God’s blessings after she was chosen to play the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap(KKusum).Nausheen’s first video album was for Remo Fernandes - Ocean Queen.
