I recently planned to have the Knorr Soupy Noodles. To my horror it had worms / insects in the packaging. Further info is -
1) The packet was not expired as the manufacturing date was Jan - 11 and expiry was Dec-11 (We are on May -11).
2) There was no damage to the packet. It was completely sealed.
3) The noodles were fine and the insects were not seen in it.
4) The insects were in the "Taste maker" provided with the noodles. They floated up when the tastemaker was added in the water.
I am attaching the photos of the insects that were found. This is really sad. If this is the scenario, their production conditions / factory cleanliness can be imagined.
I believed international brands were more quality conscious but I am proved otherwise.
