Do you walk quickly past those women on the beauty counters in the big department stores? You know the one’s I mean the woman that is beautifully made up, perfect hair and a size 8! Whilest you look like you’ve just gotten up, the little ones are playing up and as for make up gawd I havent got time for that!! Sounds familiar then? I’ll admit I sprint past these displays, or cast a casual look only if the sales woman is dealing with someone else! But having smelt Estee Lauders Knowing perfume and having a bit of spare cash I braced myself and marched straight up to the counter to actually be confronted by a rather nice woman who didnt seem to be thinking poor thing could do with a whole body overhall!!
Sorry for the rambling but it took a bit of courage to actually buy this perfume!!! Back to the point of this op - the perfume!
Knowing by Estee Lauder is one of several perfumes that they market. I must admit having smelt some of the others I did find them rather coying and too sweet smelling, so was surprised when my friend told me who actually made the perfume.
Knowing is a sophisticated perfume that lingers but is not an ’’in yer face’’ kind of perfume, subtle would sum it up well. With over tones of musk it is a heavy smelling perfume but could be used for either day or night time wear. To me Knowing is the kind of perfume that you can spray on and even if you are in your scruff feel like a million dollars! Word of warning though Do not go for the kill when spraying this perfume as too much and be a little over powering!!
It comes in the usual nice packaging which you would expect from designer perfumes. The bottle is a twisted glass effect, with a gold band and a black top - It wouldnt win any design awards but it’s the perfume inside that is the winner!!!
As with all so called designer perfume this isnt cheap! I paid £25 just over 3 years ago for my last bottle a 30 ml bottle, yes it does last along time as you only need a tiny spray!! The perfume also comes in a 75 ml EDT version as well
Having searched several web sites for deals on this perfume I’m afraid that I didn’t come up with any outstanding deals for you so brace yourself and talk to that nice woman on an Estee Lauder counter in a shop near you.....
