I was recently in Kodai for abt 3 days. Its a great place. Unfortunately I went at a time when there was rains. So all view points were cloud-covered and could not see much.
The one thing I really enjoyed is the trek to the ’’Liril falls’’ (gets its name after the liril ad by Preity Zinta there). That was a 2 hour thoroughly enjoyable trek. I would suggest everyone to take it. Since it was raining, the place was not crowded. I guess we enjoyed more because of that.
But in summers, I hear, there are traffic jams!!! Imagine going from a big city to a tourist place and being stuck in a traffic jam!! I would kill myself. Suggest you go here in off season as the place is affordable and not very crowded. It would be a nice break from the hustle and bustle of a city life.I had a good time there, although three days. Back with a refreshing mind and fond memories.
