This is certainly an entry level digital camera because the picture quality is not 100% satisfactory.However it is an ’’automatic’’ camera which means that you switch it on and start clicking.There are three settings possible-one for ordinary snaps, one for night photography and the third for 30 second video clips.However there is no provision for sound recording and there is certainly no SLR facility.According to the documentation with the camera the resolution of each picture is 2080x1544 pixels.The camera prints upto 11x14 inches.Coming to printing it helps if you have a digital camera printer so that you can print at home.However if the printer is not available it is fine to burn CDs of each set of snaps you click.You can give interested people CDs and they can print at their own convenience.Its actually a great arrangement provided you have a USB port.Each time you click you can preview on a 1.6 inch LCD monitor which is somewhat large in comparison to the camera which kind of fits in the palm.The camera has 3X continuous optical zoom.I don’t know what that means.The camera has 16 MB internal memory.The camera has a friendly price that of Rs 6900/-.Its a great camera to go digital with.However as someone who has used a non-digital camera extensively I am not completely satisfied with the quality of the images.Its a great marvel of modern technology though.
