I recently watched this movie and it really nailed it . Movie first scene start in a era of World War II where two fighter planes are having dogfight and they crash landed on a inhabited island but they continued their close combat until they were interpreted by Kong .
After few years later government agents hires a tracker(Tom Hiddlestone) to guide a expedition to a island called Skull island .They were escorted by military helicopter squadron and a reporter. During a study conducted by scientist to understand the tectonic structure of island they bombarded the island with bomb which bring forwarded Kong(in his not so good mood) he attacked the helicopter with his bare hand, trees anything he could find in his arsenal. The crew was scattered through out the island .Their only hope was a resupply team which will be arriving to island sore three days later.
Tom Hiddlestone accompanied reporter and other surviver and headed for sore but were confronted in village of island primitive inhabitants, among them was the first character of movie(who some how survived this many years). He told them them the importance of Kong to this island and to its inhabitants and dangers they about to face ahead.They formulated their escape plan together by remodeling a old fighter plane into boat . They reached the sore without meeting deadline but remaining platoon squadron attacked Kong with all firepower they got and they really kneel him down but distraction caused by tom gives Kong time to free him self and then enters a big Skullcrawler. Finalelly battle starts between Kong the King VS Skullcrawllers and the fight scene was breathe taking and logically Kong bring him down . All good guys were saved and they returned home to their family and their daily work .
The performance by actors were average they does’t have any face expression when they see any giant creature which was unbelievable . I have not noticed any song or any background soundtrack because I was too immersed in action scenes, film makers know exactly where to slow down frames to get that Kong like thing.
Whats really excited me that they soon have an sequal to this movie where they might stage a brawl between Kong and Godzilla and I can’t wait it and so would you.
