I agree to all the people who have posted comments about the ambiance and place, which is perfect.
Even the office and staff members are soft spoken.
When we went for enquiry we were treated like kings and was told that they do not run this as a money making business.
But as every other institute or academy you would know the true colors(not just the primary colors) when you pay the fee.
I completly doubt the skill level of faculty/teachers, this is maybe due to the less paid artists they are hiring for teaching.
Wonder why they do not let their artists(who’s art they put for sale) teach the students.
The art put up for sale is very good but the teachers just do not know even the basics.
You can find much more knowledge freely available on the internet if you watch youtube videos.
The methodology of teaching as per a layman’s understanding should be looking at nature or a picture/snap and sketching or painting it.
But here they give a very silly sketching/painting and ask to copy it, which would continue till the end of the course.
They do not teach the basics to a beginner about what type of brushes to use, what mediums to use for blending, what is the proportion for human anatomy etc.
Even if you ask teacher there are many things they do not even know about.
Just give something and ask to copy.
My suggestion, before joining Konslut Academy, learn from youtube videos. You would never have to go to them.
