Kootathil oruthan is a movie tell the story of a average guy who is average in his studies who tries to become hero to impress a girl who is a state topper .Arvind ( Ashok Selva) as lead actor in the movie and Janani ( Priya anand) as lead actress kootathil oruthan is very bit un exceptional guy at home were his sister has software job and his brother is very good at both studies and sports and we’re hero is plain average were he falls in love with Janani as she could be the girl for him but she is not having interest on Arvind and a gangster ( samuthirakani) who help Arvind in his romance .The first half of kootathil oruthan larger on light hearted scences involving Arvind average-ness credits for Balasaravanam who is in good form and come with some LoL scences in the movies the story of the movie is that an average guy and his success this movie tries also be one about the romance .the result of the movie is losing some of its lightness and feel goodness where the main theme of the movie is average guy and his success but the hero involves in love and forgets about the success to be a hero after the love part the main theme come in the track but it is to last poor screen play and plot
