My experience with koovs.com

Thanks Koovs!


I would like to tell a few things about Koovs.


I placed an order for a Nikon D3000 DSLR Camera, one of my long cherished dreams. At koovs I found it for the best price. 21687 INR . I was stunned at the price as in most e-commerce sites the price was above 23k. I hence placed an order on 1st November (KV-319076193).


Koovs gave me 7 day shipping assurance. On 8th Nov. I contacted koovs. They said its under process. Nothing happened till 10th. I called again and I got the same answer. On 15th when I contacted the customer support, they said the product is out of stock and needs to come from Delhi. I was asked to wait. After 4 days I contacted them again and Ms.Anitha told me that my product is on the way from Delhi to Bangalore.


I waited again and on 22nd, I called again and this time they transferred the call to one Mr.Sanjay and he was a very generous person and explained me the situation in detail. He said about the delay from the merchant’s part and that he is ready to refund the amount if I wished to cancel my order. He said that he will ship the product next day, on 23rd. I opted to wait for another day, since I have waited for almost 23 days. On 23rd evening, I got the shipping details in my koovs login. Shipping was done through Gati.


I could track the shipping and on 26th November Saturday. The product reached me.


Positives and Negatives:-


Positives: I got  a discount of 3000 IN R using koovs coupon code. Got a  high quality camera bag and 4 GB card along with the package (Obviously from Nikon) Nikon worldwide warranty


Even though it took 26 days to get the product delivered, each time I call them, they pick up the phone and that itself shows their credibility. Support is also accessible through facebook page of koovs


Negatives: They took the order without checking the availability of the product I contacted them after 7 days and then only they say that the product is not  available 26 days for getting delivery of your purchased item is just a little bit “Too Much” to  support tickets that I booked online in my koovs login is still unattended!


My Suggestions


As said by many reviewers in various online media, Koovs is not HOAX or Freud. But they might be having issues like slow shipping and so on. I f you need products at the best price online I would recommend koovs. But based on my experience be prepared to wait over a month to get your products and a few hundred bucks to call their customer support over the phone.


NB: Thanks a lot to Mr. Sanjay and Ms. Anitha for helping and reassuring me. They have truly done a wonderful job. My special thanks to them.
