I bought koryo 1.5 ton split from electronic bazaar in shipra mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. Lured by the comparatively cheaper price and salesperson assurance that this fastest selling AC I bought it for my parents. It worked for about 15 days when we noticed that there is some noise from the external unit even when the AC is shut. We complained for the same and after repeated calls the service person came and opened almost every single nut and bolt. He mentioned some part has to be replaced and it will come from Bangalore. He could fix the whole thing but AC stopped cooling altogether.
The service person informed that he will get the part in weeks time and then it will be fixed. Rest is history. Its been 8 months now, we have probably made 8000 calls from their mechanic to MD and got all sorts of lie possible on earth. "Sir it will be fixed by tomorrow or day after" is what we have heard almost from everyone. They have visited a couple of times (may be 5-6 times since August), with big teams (with so called "senior engineer") but they couldn’t make it work. My parents are old and I feel it was my biggest mistake to buy this "cheap" AC. I have no choice but to buy a new AC for them as Summer is approaching again. 20k spent on that piece of sh** brought nothing but stress and frustration.
