Kota, known education hub of the country.
I have spent almost one year in this city and in my opinion, there is nothing exciting in this city. But the important thing is that the educational institutes are busy in making money and the more than the half of the population of this city is directly or indirectly depends on this institutes. We can say that education is the backbone of the economy of this city.
The city is full of gardens and lots of temples specially dedicated to lord Shiva and Lord hanuman. Famous gardens like chambal, CV etc are worth watching. The city is known for its Kota Doria Saree.
Some of the attractive places to visit in Kota is Jag Mandir, Kota zoological park, Kishore Sagar lake & Maharao Madho Singh Museum. This city is also famous for its Well known Kota stone.
Now in my opinion apart from the above facts, the city has a lot of disadvantages. The people of this city is not so friendly for the outstation candidates as they have a very narrow thinking for them. they believe that most of the crimes have been done by these outstation students.
The transportation system in the city is almost very very bad. if you have to visit somewhere in the city then the only option is you have to personally reserve the auto, cab for visiting that place. the cab and auto driver charges heavy for the single trip which is not good. Increasing number of coaching institutes results in the increasing prices for everything. sometimes I think that city is more costliest than Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai for a single room you have to pay a very high rent.
The city is so dirty that in some places you can’t even stand for a second without putting a hanky on your nose. Lack of job opportunities, Lack of good hospitals, No big malls, no supermarket, you cant even feel that you have visited a city. It gives me a feeling that I am living in a village.
Last thing which I want to share with you my Friends is that the Coaching institutes in this city are playing with the future if the students. The schools are charging the whole year fees and after that, they just operating dummy classes. students are no need to go the school. all of the education is given by these coaching institutes which is not good for the future of the students. School plays a very important role in the student’s life but here in this city attending school is not important.
Visit this city only for entertainment purpose but not for educational purpose.
