You will be scared to hear this. 4 of my term deposit accounts have been blocked by Kotak Mahindra bank for 7+ days. I am not able to close them and withdraw MY money. No reasons. Just a system error. I called several time (2 - 3 times every day) at the their call center. They give you the same reply every time . I visited their local branch.

2 of my account are now released 2 still blocked. One for unknown reasons. Other they say is for the Credit card I have received. I was never told that the credit card blocks Term deposit accounts.
I never used their credit cards. And I will never use it in future. Their call center service is pathetic. I think even local government banks will be better than Kotak. So next time you see an advertisement of 6% interest rates with 50% more in TV, think twice before making any deposits with Kotak. They cheat you.
