[On 23/04/2022, I was informed that my account was deactivated for security reasons and thereafter I was not able to execute any transactions or use my debit card.
-On 25/04/2022, I approached the branch and I was told to give a written request to activate my account. However, the account was not activated even after about 4 hours. I went to the Bank again and now I was told to send an email to the branch requesting for activation. I was also told to call the contact center 1860 266 2666 from my overseas number. Though I tried several times, this number was not getting connected. I tried in front of the Bank officer also, however, this number was not working. He asked me to sign another application from in the eventuality that I was not reachable by the contact center. Please note that till this time, my account is not activated. After about 2 hours, my online banking was activated, however, the card remained blocked.
26th morning, I went to the bank again and told that the card is still blocked. I also requested him to give me the customer complaint number. He then told my complaint is not raised and he will do it now and send the number to me within 30 minutes. I got the complaint number and my card was activated after about 3 hours.
Later, I tried to transfer some money at about 3 p.m. for which I got a message "You are not eligible for PGOT transaction".
I have gone through all this harassment for no fault of mine. Till now the issues are not resolved. I had several such bad experiences with this bank. My advice to the people who read this review is to be careful before opening account with this bank.
