The title is probably misleading because I never got to use a kotak card as they lost all supporting documents and the card could not be issued.
I applied through their online application and when I called to check the status they said that they didnt receive but I got automatic acknowledgement with a copy of the application!
Later they sent one agent with a new form(!) and that also they lost it along with all vital documents!
And now I think if is the level of responsibility and service quality they have shown in handling the confidential documents like salary slip, passport copy etc then I can imagine what could have happened I was issued the card! And, their customer care really sucks and I would say it is probably one of worst that
Ive experienced! They have no option to send a mail(there is one but through the website which you can not follow-up)! So my adivce would be to go to the other banks e.g. HDFC bank which is much better(Im using their card for almost a year and no complains yet) which have a better risk management system in place! If there is a fraud becasue of such mishandling of docs etc the consumers only suffer, not the bank!
