I was forced to open an account with this bank because it was a salary account from my company.
BIG mistake.
Their internet banking facility is terrible, with many "features" unavailable most of the time. Even their "Mail Us" link is broken!!
Any time I try to do anything with my account online, I get the message "We are sorry, we are unable to carry out your instruction, currently. Please try later.If problem persists, please contact our 24Hrs Customer Contact Center for assistance."
Naturally their customer service is as useless as their internet banking. Theyre never aware of the problem and want me to wait for a while to fix it.How ridiculous is that? Is this Kotak Mahindra Banks way of retaining money in-house in these times of recession? By not letting their customers bank with them?
I am pretty close to simply recommending to my company to take their entire corporate salary account elsewhere. Im sure Kotak Mahindra Bank would sit up and listen if they lost 300+ customers in a few minutes.
