Kotak lately has become useless Govt type of bank, but charges everything at premium. I opened family group account under zero balance commitment, and to my surprise after 6 months they started deducting Rs. 1200 as a minimum balance fee without intimation. I escalated, and they reverted Rs 700. After 3 months, again they deducted Rs 1200 for consecutive two months and now are refusing to revert the amount. Another example of their lousy service, when I wanted a stamped bank statement to be issued, they asked to bring my own print or pay Rs 150 for printout. I have 10 more examples for not to chose Kotak. I suggest stay away from Kotak services.
