I have an 811 account with Kotak Bank(I cannot share account details due to security reasons). Few days back I recieved a text message from kotak bank that I am eligible for a free debit card or a cheque book for a year on my registered mobile number. There is also a link provided to fill up the form. I fill up the form with my basic details like Name, registered mobile number and emal and I opt for free debit card for a year. Then the second step was to select preferred timing and branch so I selected Malad West Branch and date 17th of November 2017. As my appointment or schedule I visited the branch yesterday that is 17th of November with the required documents but the kotak executive directly denied me by saying that there is no such offers. After arguing for few minutes I showed him the text message and then he accepted it. But then too he told me that the offer is not free wherein its clearly mentioned FREE DEBIT CARD. After arguing for few minutes I finally decided to leave. My point is firstly why there is a communication gap between kotak employees and why kotak is wasting time of customers by giving fake offers. Also the staff of a such a reputed organisation is not decent or professional enough. Infact they are very rude. Really wasted my one hour and really frustrated and disappointed.
