Waste of time/Flouts RBI guidelines

Recently I was forced to apply for a credit card by a kotak agent. He filled the form and made me run around 3-4 times for documents.


Then I got calls from the bank over the next 2 weeks confirming all the details I had given. Then I did not hear from them for a month. I went to their website and checked and found out that my application was rejected. The bank did not even have the courtesy to inform me.


I contacted the bank and was told that my card was rejected because of CIBIL info. With great difficulty I managed to get the CIBIL control no from them. I contacted CIBIL and they told me that I have no reports against me.I again contacted the bank and told them that there was no problem with CIBIL. They now told me that I did not fit their preferance criteria.


Liars, they change their excuses as and when they want. Still today I dont know why they rejected my card. According to RBI guidelines they have to provide me with a written explanation.Kotak its your loss, not mine. I could have been your high net worth customer, but you guys missed out on the oppurtunity. You harraased me for nothing.
