This is the worst experience which I had with the Kotak Mahindra Bank
Since yesterday I am trying to do my Credit card payment but because of their system issue I am not able to do the payment.Yesterday I was getting continuous calls from the collection department stating that my Credit card due date is 5th Jan 2018 and I need to do the payment before the given date.
I informed them and also sent them an email with the print screen that this is the error what I am getting.they informed me that as its a weekend they will be some technical problem. So I decided to do the payment today.
Since morning I was trying but got the same error.later after some time I got a call from the Kotak bank collection department to check whether I have done the payment I informed them that their website is not working.
So the girl informed me that she will send the executive on Monday to collect the payment through check or cash.I was ok with it.today in the evening around 5pm I suddenly got a message that the credit card amount is deducted I was surprised n shocked that how come such a big amount is deducted then I called the toll free no I.e. 18602662666.
I spoke in the credit card department I informed them in detail so they informed me that the collection department has the right and the authority to deduct the amount from the customers account without any notification given to the customer or even informing the customer that they will be deducted the amount.
I want to know with whose permission has Kotak deducted the amount without notifying the customer and how the hell can they save the customers details which are personal.I will make it sure that I put post a negative feedback on all social medias and file a case in consumer forum and make it sure that I will inform evry1 to not open an account with Kotak Bank as it is not safe and not at all reliable.
I would request you all please do not opt for Kotak Credit Card.Please do not opt for Kotak Credit Card
