Shameful, underestimated, too low!
Excuse me for starting the mail so less wonderfully for a the kind of support that KOTAK Credit card provides by the so called Cust Service.
But again I am thankful that now nothing more dreadful and hassle full would happen, KOTAK credit cards cust service has proved that they are the best in the worst category following the superior excellent time wasting tailor made policy that they have.
Frequent and a good account maintained at the Kirti Nagar branch, with at least 4 FDs as well. One stupid day, was offered a KOTAK Credit card with promises like life time free and a good credit limit. blah blah. was never ever informed about the catch on that. Got the URBANE one, with a shameful limit of 30k as against what was promised, did not find it good to carry as well, just used it 3 times in the complete year.
Now got the renewal bill for the same, called the Cust services to complain about the things that were promised and cancel the card. Now comes the deadliest part. Person named Chandrakant informs (7th May2014), that with the outstanding fees isnt able to cancel the card, but will take a request for a call back. 7 days down the drain, no call, no intimation.
Consoled my mind, that being a KOTAK card member, I will have to get used to this kind of sufferings, called up again on the 17th(early morning - arnd 00:10 am), now Sahil, who informs that the request was declined . keeps the call on hold for around 7 minutes with no hassles at all, while connecting the call forward.
Got transferred to a so called Sup ANSHUMAN, a wonderfully trained person to say apology and sorry for one thousand times in a day, interrupt as many times at his own will and wish and then disconnected the call. But has no explanation as to why wasnt the call back made. Called back again, and was told that he did call me back, wonderfully when I still on hold with him on my call to the toll free number.
As a last resort, before approaching the Consumer Forum, am writing on here (Facebook as well), might be the best possible way to get a resolution on the same.
I will still abide by the things that were promised to me while making the mistake of getting this card, even if have to approach the Consumer Forums for that.
WHY TO PAY FOR A DUMB CARD THAT U DONT WANT TO USE AT ALL.
