Worst financial company to deal with...

I do interact with a lot of banks and financial institutions for my financial needs. I plan my finances very meticulously and make sure there is no discrepancy in my credit records. After joining a famous audit firm, got lured by Kotak credit card and applied for a credit card for the first time. After lot of verification, kotak has smsed me that they have dispatched my credit card. When I see the envelope, I was surprised that my name was incorrect and blue dart courier refused to deliver the card as I do not have any ID proof on the incorrect name.


I called up twice to the customer care and requested them to correct the name; they did not change the name but kept on sending the card through Blue dart to my office or home address six times and every time the courier person would not deliver the card as I did not have the ID proof. I stopped calling their customer care as they did not bother to address my request. After an year, Kotak again surprised me by sending account statement for the credit card (on incorrect name) that I did not have,  for annual charges.


When I called up the customer care regarding the same they raised three to four request numbers but failed to address the issue. After the due date, they were not listening to me as I have not paid my annual charges. I have told them that I was unable to pay the annual charges, as I do not have the credit card number; even then they were not willing to listen.


At last got to know my credit card number after calling from my registered mobile number and paid the annual charges and asked them to cancel the card. Not sure whether they cancelled the card or not as I have requested for cancellation today. I have vowed myself not to have any relationship with Kotak group. It is simply absurd to make a customer pay for no mistake of him.


Kotak has miss-spelt my name and courier did not deliver and kotak customer care does not solve the issue, I am myself to be blamed for getting in touch with Kotak unnecessarily. Request everyone to stay away from Kotak.
