I opened a three in one account on 21 Oct 2010 through one of their rep Mr. Ranbir Singh. Till today (05 Dec 2010) I could not receive my password for operating my demat account as they missed a digit from my email ID. Manytimes I contacted customer care and told them the problem, they demanded fresh copy of my pan to correct my email ID, even after submitting fresh copy of my pan I could not get any password. I had deposited Rs.25000/- initially in the Kotak bank account which immediately transferred to kotak securities and since then my money is lying with kotak securities without any use.
Since it is not in the bank I could not get any interest on it and as I did not get my password I can not operate my demat account. I was told by their rep that the amount transferred to securities will automatically be transferred back to my bank account after two-three days but it never transferred. Due to irrespobsible behaviour of these people I missed two important IPOs Coal India and MOIL. Nobodly is available to listen and to solve my problem in the company. I have neven seen such type of irresponsible people in the reputed company having brand name as Kotak. If any company official reads my comment kindly try to solve my problem. Mr. Ranbir Singh in Delhi branch of Kotak Securities knows my all problems as he opened my account and I regularly request him for help but I think that he is of no use as he is not so trained to deal with the customers.
