I opened an account in kotak securites. Further i have done some trading. Kotak securities had its own pros compared to icici direct. Icici direct is much more simple to us. Kotak is for a hardcore trader.
At the same time, i was not doing any trading for quite some time. I wanted to close the account.
It is very difficult to approach kotak bank to close the kotak trading account. Whereas while opening it they are all one stop solution etc. I struggled for an year to make them close my account. After lot of effort i found that they had closed my account. In the kotak bank - online account i didn’t see the kotak securities tab, i was relieved.
Bingo, after a month i again get a statement form kotak securities. Account is not yet closed with kotak securities. I made another trip to kotak securities office in worli (all the way from santacuz). This time they took another form & said that part of it is closed & last part will be closed now.
Further if you are shifting your house & want to do address change - kotak is not suitable for you. They are very difficult for changing the address. Bright & attractive logos but they test their customers resolve & sustenance power.
