To get a feel of kotak securities, dial 022-30305757 once. It is supposed to be a toll free 24x7 customer care number. In reality, it works Monday to Friday from 10 to 4.and you need just sheer luck to get hold of their stupid customer care personnel. If you were that lucky, you would not have been their customer.
Their research reports are not even close to what you hear in your office canteen. Almost all the report talk about "not to buy" stocks, As if we have such a few stocks to choose from. Probably they still think this way and that is why they run their brokerage the way they run it.
Now coming to my personal experience. Every time I applied for an IPO I have to literally run after them to gey my refund. Today is 14th feb and I have still not received cash refund for reliance power IPO.Don’t buy mutual funds from them, Never ever..... I have still not received my mutual fund certificate after 20 days of buying it. And their customer care is sending me my account statement!!!
Their are enough things to worry about in stock market and life in general, don’t add your brokerage to it. You have been warned!!!
