Want to share my experience with parents who are considering Kothari for their ward, we have recently got our son in Kothari , he is in 6th standard. Their has been many issues lately. Here are top 5 concerns:
a)80% of the syllabus completed in last month. School was busy preparing for Annual day so the course had to e completed after Annual day.
b)Excessive homework to complete the course before the exam , no time left to study or prepare for the final exams
c)There has been no sports class for past 3 months, no music class well to meet up with the time lost for annual day preparation
d)Teachers are not diligent , mostly absent, copies are not checked, students mistakes are not corrected , had to redo the maths exercise with my son as he had absolutely wrong understanding of what was taught.
e)No value for money, the school prospectus talks about various extra-curricular activities, different type of clubs, sports, etc, however there is no focus on sports, music, club activities.
We were getting better academic and overall growth in the previous school paying 1/3 what we are paying at Kothari.
