I never bought anything from Koutons till some 14 months back. There were so many other brands in market like Van Heusen, Peter England, Blackberry’s, lately John Players to name a few. Some on the higher side of the budget and some on the lower side.
Then one day I went to a Koutons store with one of my relatives to buy a shirt for him. I also bought a shirt and a trouser. That was the day after which I never bought trousers of any other brand may it be formals, semi formals, jeans or corduroys. At least for me it was a perfect fit. Other brands were too loose or too tight but I was really impressed by these.
Same is true about their shirts. They come in wide variety, Cotton, Cotton rich, Linen etc.. The best thing is that I could get shirt of 39 size, which is a rarity. After washing, the material retains its shine, form (collars don’t fall) and is very durable.
Koutons is upcoming on Jackets and T-shirts front too, though the choice is very limited.
One thing, which I really feel about is the cost. You can call it outrageous. The material is costly. But then Discount is always been offered at their outlets. And that too to the tune of 50%, 50% + 20% (i.e. 60%) or offers like Buy 2 get 1 free.
At the end I must suggest that one should buy at least one garment to believe what I have written (though I’m not getting any commission).
