Best ambiance for dinner

Different people have different reason, some say they want tasty food, some say they need classy ambiance with descent food, some say they want comfortable and at home feel. If you’d ask me what would I prefer? I would certainly opt for classy ambiance with descent food. If you too are one like me then Koyla’s the place to be!

I always had a wish to visit this place, but it was very costly so I had to limit my wish but recently there was a family get together arranged by one of my uncles as he was celebrating his wedding anniversary and what better than celebrating at Koyla’s.

Let me first start with the starters. The starters were awesome and I loved every single bit of it. We first ordered shami kebabs which were tried by all of us, and almost everyone loved it. It was a bit spicy, but kebabs are meant to be spicy and this was just the same that I told my relatives. Then we ordered the sizzling chicken platter which comprised of platter of 3 chicken tikka, 3 pieces of murg malai, 2 pieces of kebab and some more stuffs which made our day. It was priced somewhere around 700, but it was worth every single bit.

The main course too was very special, and Koyla’s butter chicken is a must try dish. The chicken were cooked properly, I’m saying this because I’ve been to many places and found the chicken uncooked or overcooked.

The desserts too had a wide range(10 desserts) to choose from, right from Rabdi to dark chocolate mousse we tried almost all the desserts. We were around 8 people so we all could fit in one shamiana.

The food and presentation was awesome and it really impressed us as did the taste.

Coming to the ambiance, it was classy and one not to be missed. If I had to rate this restaurant for it’s ambiance I would rate it 5 on 5. It was a shamiana kind of set up with cushions and dim light around. The white walls added to the ambiance. The best ambiance I’ve been till date.

A must try in terms of ambiance.

The customer service too was good enough, the waiters were well trained and well behaved and kind enough to assist us much before we could ask for. Although the dishes took some time to come, it was expected as the place was full and it would take some time.

One more important thing is that prior reservations have to be done especially if you are planning to go weekend.

Few things that I disliked about this restaurant.

This place is a bit far from andheri station, but one can prefer going from jogeshwari station.

There isn’t buffet dinner at this place, and it would be a affordable deal if one goes in big groups. This place is costly so going in big groups would burn your pockets a bit less.

A kid friendly place, ideal for large groups. A must visit if you don’t mind spending much on food and ambiance. Favorite item has to be the sizzling chicken platter.

Highly Recommended.
